Design on Life - Spring Auction
Held in conjunction with the Fort Wayne Home and Garden Show. The evening features a reception with heavy hors d’ oeuvres, refreshments and entertainment. The main entertainment is an auction of items provided by home and garden vendors.
Lapper
An annual spring walk held at Foster Park to support all those affected by cancer in northeast Indiana. This walk is a fundraiser to honor or memorialize a loved one touched by cancer. Bring a friend, form a team, and walk as many laps as you can! Click here >> to register for the event.
National Cancer Survivors Day
Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana has sponsored the official local celebration of National Cancer Survivors Day since it’s inception. It is a celebration of life for all those who have survived cancer. Survivors include people who have been affected by the cancer diagnosis, like family members and friends. The event is held the first Sunday in June, with refreshments, entertainment.
Alvin & Madeline Strauss Foundation Educational Symposium
The educational seminar is for healthcare professionals and social workers in the community.
Fall Tribute Dinner
It is a night to give tribute to a friend, family member or special someone that has fought the battle of cancer. Each table will recognize a person who has experienced cancer. Table Tributes include a tribute gift and program page. The evening includes dinner and a motivational speaker.
Volunteer Recognition Event - December
Each year Cancer Services recognizes the hundreds of people who volunteer at the agency. The event is held over breakfast, with entertainment and a small gift for each attendee. This is an incredibly important event, since we could not do what we do without our volunteers.
Friends for Lunch
A one hour Open House held the 4th Friday of every month from 11:30- 12:30PM. Designed for those interested in learning more about Cancer Services.
