Latest News

6th Annual Lapper - A Walk to Support All Those Affected by Cancer - The walk took place on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Foster Park.

For the last five years, the host of the Lapper has been Jill Burnett. Jill started this event to honor a friend and co-worker battling breast cancer. All proceeds benefited Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana to help local people with cancer. Jill's commitment was for 5 years. We continued this grand tradition and all who participated had a grand time despite the cold blustery weather.

The Lapper is designed for all those who have been affected by cancer. It was an opportunity to participate in a walk - up to twenty miles - it pushed people past their comfort zone, just as people with cancer do every day.
