Community Engagement Coordinator
3/4-Time

Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana is seeking a 3/4-time Community Engagement Coordinator to welcome and engage community volunteers in the service of our mission: to enhance the quality of life of those affected by cancer. CSNI maintains an exceptional, client-driven culture designed to meet the individual needs of the whole person while building a community of support they can come to rely on. Volunteers at Cancer Services are key to this support and are highly motivated to make a difference in any way they can. The Community Engagement Coordinator will lead this community of volunteers in the successful giving of their time and talents, nurturing that desire and connecting them to gratifying experiences that make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with and appreciation for investing in providing opportunities for people to thrive.
  • Experience in volunteerism or similar coordination; certification in volunteerism a plus

Events Coordinator
Part Time

Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana is seeking a part-time Events Coordinator who is interested in using their creativity and ability to get all the details right to create meaningful opportunities to connect people to our mission: to enhance the quality of like of those effected by cancer. The Event Coordinator will play a vital role in planning and implementing special events that help staff, clients and volunteers bring meaning to the cancer experience and build support for Cancer Services’ programs and services.

Qualifications:

  • Exceptionally skilled at discerning work priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to proactively solve problems.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to manage stress and remain calm.
  • Ability to interact thoughtfully with staff, volunteers, and donors.
  • Excellent vendor management and negotiation skills
  • Degree in relevant field preferred.
  • Proficiency with technology, including donor database or CRM (Salesforce preferred, and Microsoft Office.
  • Proven experience in event planning and fundraising.
