Happy Volunteer Appreciation Week! We love our volunteers

We have been blessed with volunteers since 1944.  It started out with just a few, and now has blossomed into more than 600 caring individuals who help make Cancer Services what it is today.  People often ask how we get so many volunteers.  So we want to share our secret recipe…

1 cup of generosity

½ cup of time

1 tablespoon of dedication

1 teaspoon of love

A pinch of joy

A dash of kindness

A sprinkle of loyalty

Combine with love, mix with willingness, and blend with individual talents.

That is our secret recipe…inspired by wonderful volunteers who demonstrate each day what it takes to be a volunteer.
