The 34th annual Kroger Scott’s Cancer Day 2012 is tomorrow!
Kroger will donate 3% of sales on October 10th to American Cancer Society and Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana. This year, 18 Kroger and Scott’s banner stores in the region will participate. Kroger Cancer Day 2011 total proceeds were $61,156. Over 33 years, the annual Cancer Day event has raised $4,536,951 for local cancer organizations.
Kroger customers will be given the opportunity to contribute to the two cancer organizations by donating cash in increments of $1, $3 or $5 between Wednesday, October 10th and Wednesday, October 17th. There is no limit to the total amount a customer can contribute. In appreciation, Kroger is offering a special Cancer Day ad with savings opportunities available only in the 18 northeast Indiana stores.
