Lapper & Survivors Day Recap

Lapper & Survivors Day 2014 was a wonderful event! Support from our generous donors enabled us to raise over $69,000, which will go toward services for people in our community who are affected by cancer. We also had a record number of participants this year with over 560 walkers participating in Lapper & Survivors Day.

We want to thank our 20 sponsors who made the event possible. We also want to extend a special thanks to the following people:

  • Ella Miller for singing the National Anthem
  • Kim Fislar for giving the keynote address
  • Bishop Luers Dance Team and Coach Cindy Figel for performing the “flash mob”
  • Pinkie Louden, who was the top fundraiser, gathering $2,570 in donations
