Facilitated by Jean Rowe, LCSW and Certified Journal Therapist
Caregiving for others is a sacred act. It requires selflessness, patience, and compassion. It can be an invisible role when we’re caring for others who are managing cancer. There is evidence-based, peer-reviewed research showing that caregivers experience secondary traumatic stress, compassion fatigue, and plain old burnout while caring for others. Expressive writing has been a successful therapeutic tool for helping with well-being and general functioning. Come join us for this four week series to reset and ground yourself with tools for how to take care of yourself while caring for others.
